Jamaal authors the Deep Rooted Series on The Olio.  His writing is conversational and is designed to explore the Word of God and discuss how to execute the word in everyday life and to be deeply rooted in Christ.  Jamaal’s vision is to encourage non-believers to know the truth and seek out God and for believers to think about and strengthen their faith.  He hosts his own blog at jbizzlefaceblog.blogspot.com.

Jamaal attends Vineyard Columbus Church in Columbus Ohio.  He is an active member in Vineyard Columbus’ African American Men’s Group and an outreach volunteer.

Jamaal is the media relations manager at The Ohio State University’s Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity.  He received his BS in Public Relations and Communication Studies from Ball State University.  Jamaal served four years active duty in the US Navy during Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.  He found Christ and was baptized during his time in the Navy.
