Amy Coffin
As someone who is a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven before being a citizen of America, Amy Coffin is a foreigner in India and wherever she goes. From this perspective, she blogs on cultural, justice, and theological issues as well to encourage devotion.
In 2004, Amy graduated with her B.A. in Bible and Theology from Lee University while helping the Chattanooga Vineyard Church get started. In 2007 Amy completed her M.Div. at Princeton Theological Seminary along with interning with Mark Tindall at the Blue Route Vineyard, PA and Bert Waggoner at the Vineyard Church Stafford, TX.
For the past two years, Amy has spent most of her time in Delhi, India where she is a Staff pastor along with her parents, Rick and Ellen Coffin. Amy is also the director of Vineyard Discipleship School Asia, which she founded in 2008. VDS is an intensive program aimed at raising-up a new generation of Jesus followers in India and the world.
Amy enjoys cooking, painting, playing guitar, writing songs, and keeping up with international friends. One day Amy hopes to plant an urban church in the U.S.—gathering people together from many backgrounds to bring glory to God through change and community development.
You can read more about Amy’s adventures in ministry in India at her blog, Memoirs of a Foreigner.
