That is EXACTLY the current sermon theme in our church - RiverStone Church.

However we are part of 17 different denominational churches, in our county, outside of Atlanta, that are both praying and praising for unity for the church in its impact in our community. We are pressing in for transformation in the community, the church and ourselves. Pastors are also trading pulpits and preaching on unity in other churches for this period as well.

Planning also for a huge gathering of all the churches at a high school football stadium to pray to and praise our Lord - Jesus.... Read More... Read More... Read More

The unity direction seems to be born in part by our Youth Summer Camp as well.

Will, your writing is very pertinent to all ministry areas. As Christians we must stay united in the cause, using God's holy word, The Bible, as our foundational reference. This reminds me of the saying which is so appropriate throughout the ages:
"In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, and in all things charity." Let's be united in God's word and the instruction He gives and continue to serve Him for His glory. -R. Dean
